In those years, all Japanese motorcycle manufacturers tried to gain a foothold in the expensive luxury touring market, however, looking ahead, I will say that only Honda succeeded with its Gold Wing models. The Kawasaki ZN1300 Voyager lasted until 1988, after which it was discontinued. In 1986, a new model appeared in the role of the successor to the Kawasaki ZN1300 Voyager - [[Kawasaki_ZG1200_Voyager | Kawasaki ZG1200 Voyager]]. It was based on an in-line 4-cylinder engine and was equipped with a carburetor power system. This model existed on the market practically unchanged until 2004.
