Kawasaki D-Tracker 125 was first introduced in 2010 and was intended primarily for sale in the Asian and Oceanian markets.

The Kawasaki D-Tracker 125 is built on a common base with the Kawasaki KLX 125 enduro and differs from it only in wheels (road, 14 ') and front suspension (inverted fork). The motorcycle was based on a 1-cylinder 4-stroke air-cooled engine, with two valves, a volume of 124 cc, giving out just over 10 hp. power and 10 Nm of torque. Despite the archaic design of the engine, it is equipped with electronic fuel injection.

The chassis of the Kawasaki D-Tracker 125 features a steel perimeter frame, an inverted front fork, a rear monoshock and disc brakes at the front and rear. It is noteworthy that these components were not borrowed from other models (usually outdated, already out of production), but were developed specifically for the Kawasaki D-Tracker 125.

In general, the model can be considered as the first motorcycle and as an alternative to the Chinese models. The overall manufacturability of the D-Tracker 125, coupled with its simplicity of design, reliability and relatively low price, make it very attractive for young pilots and girls.

Model Kawasaki D-Tracker 125 was produced until 2014, after which it was replaced by an updated model - Kawasaki D-Tracker 150.

The "big brother" of the model is Kawasaki D-Tracker 250.
