Engine
The 350 SX-F engine is neatly positioned in a compact and lightweight (26.6 kg) design. It features a lightweight DOHC (double camshaft) cylinder head and a new, stronger idler oil pump for increased reliability.
Suspension
The SX and XC come with a WP XACT fork and rear shock, while the W and EXC come with XPLOR suspension. In particular, the Factory Edition fork has calibrated pistons for tighter mating, which gives the opportunity to increase the pressure in the fork stays, as well as new traverses. The rear shock has a new preload adjuster for more precise adjustment. The traverses resemble the Xtrig traverse structure, but the aluminum profile is much more rounded and there is a lot of milling in the center sections.
