Yamaha XVZ1300 TF / LT
The Yamaha Royal Star Venture (XVZ1300TF) appeared in 1999 as the successor to the old Yamaha XVZ1300D Venture Royale. Very often this model is considered as one of the modifications of the cruiser Yamaha Royal Star (XVZ1300A), however, the Royal Star Tour Deluxe has more in common with the Royal Star Venture and can in fact be considered as its "stripped down" version.
It should be noted right away that the Tour Deluxe is not a "naked" version of the Venture, but has the technical features of both the Venture and the classic Royal Star (XVZ1300A). Therefore, in this review we will analyze the Yamaha Royal Star Venture (XVZ1300TF) and Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe (XVZ1300LT) models in one article.
The main visual differences between the Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe and the Yamaha Royal Star Venture are the absence of a batwing (instead of a classic windshield), an audio system and a center case. On the technical side, both models differ in weight, overall dimensions, front brake (Tour Deluxe uses 4-piston brakes from the classic Royal Star, Venture - 2-piston), fuel tank capacity (Tour Deluxe uses an 18-liter tank from the classic Royal Star, Venture - 22 liters), carburetors (Tour Deluxe uses BDS28 carburetors from the classic Royal Star, Venture - BDS32) and gearbox ratios (Tour Deluxe uses a gearbox from the classic Royal Star, Venture is equipped with a gearbox with a different gear ratio).
The main feature of the Yamaha XVZ1300TF Royal Star Venture and Yamaha XVZ1300LT Royal Star Tour Deluxe is the engine, which is a 4-cylinder V-shaped block of liquid cooling, with a volume of about 1300 cc. see, giving out 97 hp. power and 123 Nm of torque. Maximum performance - from 5000 to 6000 rpm.
