Suzuki GSX-R750 (2008-2010)

Suzuki GSX-R 750 first appeared in 1985 and was the first model to be modeled after racing prototypes. At that time, the motorcycle had advanced technologies such as an aluminum frame, powerful 4-piston brakes, an air-oil engine, an anti-bite fork, etc.

By 1988, the Suzuki GSX-R750 model underwent the first restyling, receiving a different plastic design, a fork (now a cartridge forks with a 43 mm diameter stays were installed), a brake system, enlarged valves and new Mikuni BST36 carburetors. The engine has been re-configured to increase the bore and decrease the piston stroke. However, by 1990 it was decided to return to the previous configuration.

In 1989, the track modification Suzuki GSX-R750R appears. It was distinguished by a reinforced bottom of the engine, increased 40 mm carburetors, a 4-in-1 exhaust, the gear ratio of the gearbox (numbers are closer together), a plug in the passenger seat and a 19 liter fuel tank.

In 1990, the model undergoes further changes. And although in appearance it was not much different from the previous generation, still a lot of changes were made. The regular fork was replaced by an inverted one (in the North American market until 1991, the usual ones were installed); new Mikuni BST38SS carburettors; new exhaust system (instead of a double pipe, one on the right side); new curved oil cooler. New rear suspension and wheel dimensions.

In 1991, the design of the headlight and taillights was changed, with a larger seat, new valves and an enlarged rear wheel.

In 1992, the Suzuki GSX-R750 gets a new liquid engine and returns to Mikuni BST36 carburetors. Changes have also been made to the frame and suspension configuration.

By 1996, the Suzuki GSX-R750 is being updated to the new generation. The main change is the use of the SRAD (Suzuki Ram Air Direct) inertial charging system. The model also gets a new generation engine (lightweight parts), new Mikuni BDSR39 carburettors and a fully adjustable 43mm inverted fork. The rear wheel width has been increased to 190 mm.

In 1998, the model gets electronic fuel injection instead of carburetors, which increases the maximum power from 128 to 134 hp.

In 2000, the model is updated to the next generation. New appearance of plastic and dashboard (LCD), new engine and injection system (power increase to 141 hp), new exhaust, new chassis - frame, lightweight brakes and rims, new swingarm.

In 2004, the model gets a new 32-bit control unit, titanium valves, increased to 147 hp. maximum power. The frame is available in black. and the conventional calipers were replaced with radial calipers.

In 2006, the Suzuki GSX-R750 was refreshed again with an updated frame, engine and swingarm. The diameter of the front brake discs has been increased from 300 to 310 mm. The motorcycle is equipped with a slipping clutch.

In 2008, the model is revised again, receiving a new exhaust system and the S-DMS system (SUZUKI Drive Mode Selector) with a choice of 3 engine modes.

In 2011, the model receives a new Shows BPF (Big Piston Fork) front fork, Brembo monobloc calipers, an optimized frame and swingarm, which have reduced the overall weight by 8 kg.
